Queen Regnant is a conceptual fashion photoshoot that was part of a passion project with a collective of creatives who go by Blackout Co. The project consisted of designing and constructing a costume inspired by men’s fashion in the 15th century. After the costume was completed, it was worn by a model and photographed at the Marland Mansion in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The concept behind the photoshoot was to portray a woman in the shoes of an aristocratic man in the 1500s. A video was created documenting the process of the project from start to finish.
